Andrew, a homeschooled freshman, had personal bests in all seven of his short- and long-track races at the American Cup, and he qualified for the U.S. Junior Sprint Championships in December. He has set five national and international records this year.

Amanda, a sophomore outside hitter at Southfield
High, has 224 aces this season (2.5 per game), which
leads the nation, according to MaxPreps; last year
she was first with 241. In 17 games last week she had
61 kills, 55 aces and 66 digs.

Jonathan, a senior wide receiver at Seattle Prep in his
first year of football, caught touchdowns of 59, 70 and
81 yards in a loss to Cedarcrest. He has also scored on
a 94-yard kickoff and 68-yard punt return and threw a
38-yard TD pass. He is All–Metro League in baseball.

Denzel, a senior running back at the Blue Ridge
School, ran 13 times for 233 yards, caught seven
passes for 140 yards, scored a school-record seven
touchdowns and even intercepted two passes to lead
the Barons to a 49–29 win over Trinity Episcopal.

Spencer, a junior at Port Angeles High, earned a gold medal in a national school-age clean-and-jerk record (379 pounds) for the 208-plus pound weight class at the Sub 17 Pan Am Games and won silvers in the snatch and all-around. He also has two national titles.

Phillip, a freshman at Villa Park High, swept the boys' singles, boys' doubles and mixed doubles events to win the under-15 triple crown at both the U.S. junior nationals and the Pan Am junior championships. He has won a record 24 U.S. junior national titles.

Aaron, a sophomore running back at Madison High, carried 33 times for 428 yards and a city-record nine touchdowns-on runs of 1,7,12,80,13,57,12,55 and 6 yards-in a 69-56 win over Kerrville Tivy. He has 870 rushing yards and 14 TDs on 86 rushes this season.

Lauren, a Lely High senior, is ranked No.2 in the U.S. after winning USTA's 18-and-under National Open and National Clay Court championships and the $10,000 Via Christi Pro Tennis Classic. (As an amateur she received only expenses.) She has won nine national titles.

Kellie, a junior at Summit High, has won two class 5A titles in the 100, 200 and 400 meters, with best times of 12.01, 24.50 and 54.70. She also has titles in the 4x400 relays. She was third at the 5k Saxon Invitational and 10th at the state cross-country meet.

Marshall, a senior fullback and linebacker at La Crosse High, had two TD runs, a point after, eight tackles, a sack and two punts in a 27-0 win over Trinity. Last year he ran 87 times for 745 yards, caught 13 passes for 283 yards and scored 16 TDs. He has been all-state twice.
