Blackmon, a senior running back at Bentonville High, has rushed for 2,562 yards this season, a 7A West Conference record and fourth-most ever in Arkansas's largest classification. He has also scored 33 touchdowns and been named first-team all-state.
Tahnai, a senior midfielder at Pickerington North High, scored 17 goals, had five assists and was named Division I player of the year by the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association. She was first-team all-state three times and had 86 career goals.
Will, a senior at Rocky Mountain High, won the last three games of the final set to defeat Calix Van Lier 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 and win the No. 1 singles championship in Class 5A. After going 21-0, he was named Rocky Mountain News and Front Range League player of the year.
Larry, a senior running back and cornerback at Illinois Valley High, ran the ball 19 times for 395 yards and six rushing touchdowns, including scoring runs of 70 and 90 yards, in a 45-6 win over Pleasant Hill. He also had an 80-yard TD reception and intercepted a pass.
Morgan, a junior goalkeeper at Fox Chapel Area High, has led the Lady Foxes to an 11-4-3 record, saving 188 of the 206 shots she has faced this season (a .913 percentage). She has been playing with an under-19 club, Team Pittsburgh, since she was 13 years old.
Jameel, a senior wide receiver at Muskogee High, caught five passes for 221 yards and touchdown passes of 91 and 99 yards in a 43-6 win over Tahlequah. The No.47 recruit in the SI/Takkle.com Top 100, he has 40 receptions for 724 yards and seven TDs this season.
Jimmy, a senior at Churchill High, was selected to the junior national team and qualified for the Olympics trials after swimming the 100-meter freestyle .07 below the cutoff time of 51.59 at the U.S. national championships. He won the 50-yard free at the Texas Class 5A meet.
Joey, a homeschooled high school senior, finished first in the 2007 U.S. junior national team trials and will be the top-ranked American at last December's world junior chamnpionships. He played for the U.S. team that finished 14th in 2006.
Aubrey, a homeschooled high school junior, was the
lone triple gold medalist at the USA Junior Olympic
national championships. She won the under-14 singles
(defeating Devon Pimentelli 15-0, 15-2 in the final) as well as the doubles and under-16 mixed doubles.
Matt, a junior at Gray Stone Day School, won his second straight junior national lumberjack championship for 10- to 18-year-olds. He won all three events: the ax throw, two-person crosscut (with his twin, Eric) and underhand chop (in an under-18 national record 15.34 seconds).
